At Summit Family Chiropractic we know education is of equal importance to the adjustment, which is why we utilize an Adjustatorium. It is an open concept where educational material is constantly at our patient’s disposal. We believe that in education we can teach our patients how to never end up in the position that brought them to our facility, thus increasing the health coefficient of Broomfield and the surrounding areas.
When scheduling at Summit Family Chiropractic, your first two visits at our facility are the longest. Initial comprehensive examination that is inclusive of a history, history of traumas, physical examination and x-rays. We have an x-ray suite in our facility to ensure you are getting the proper weight-bearing chiropractic x-rays to determine where subluxations are and to address other issues such as degenerative joint disease (DJD), degenerative disc disease (DDD) and other abnormalities. The second appointment is a New Patient report of findings (NPR). This is where you come back and we review what we have found in the initial comprehensive examination, what the problem is, if we can help, how long it will take, and how much it will cost. From there you decide whether the care is something you are going to take to completion. In the event you agree to care and understand the value, we will then be adjusting you immediately.
We know your time is precious and work hard to ensure you aren’t waiting in our office for long on all appointments after the first two. It is not about how long you are in the office; it is about the repetition of times you are in the office to develop a rhythm to help combat the poor patterns of posture and subluxations through chiropractic adjustments, corrective exercises, other modalities (if necessary), and spinal workshops.
What is The Process Like?
Step 1
All new patients are required to fill out the new patient health application form which we will provide for you when you come in to get checked.
Step 2
Next a one-on-one consultation will be conducted to discuss your health conditions and your overall health goals. This consultation will provide us with a better understanding of your current health status, locate the cause of your health conditions, and properly address your needs.
Step 3
Then we begin our evaluation procedures. These assessments are focused on locating and correcting Vertebral Subluxations. The procedures we use in our office focus on your spine and nervous system. Our comprehensive chiropractic evaluation and neurological diagnostic testing are performed to further determine the exact cause of your health conditions. Using our state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, we identify and locate the dysfunction within the body. Read more about this in the Chiropractic Evaluation section below.

These results provide us with a better understanding of your current state of health. These findings, along with their significance, will be discussed and explained during your Report of Findings appointment.
Step 4
Your Report of Findings appointment is the most important and is scheduled within a few days of your initial visit. This is a mandatory appointment. Our doctors take time to discuss with you the cause of your health concerns. They will help you determine if chiropractic care is right for you and if it is, the parameters they recommend for your care.
